Android TV, Apple TV, and LG webOS applications built for a remote, a ten-foot UI, and lean-back playback — not a stretched phone layout.

A phone UI on a television fails immediately: tiny hit targets, no focus order, and playback that cannot be driven with a remote.

Television applications are living-room products. The person is on a sofa, input is a D-pad or Siri Remote, type has to read from across the room, and focus movement is the navigation. Weps Technologies treats Android TV (and Google TV), Apple TV (tvOS), and LG webOS as separate surfaces with a shared content model. Android TV uses Leanback or Compose for TV. Apple TV uses the tvOS focus engine. LG webOS applications are HTML5/JavaScript products packaged for LG’s store and remote model. Typical work includes catalogues, live or on-demand playback, profiles, and pairing with a phone when the product needs a second screen. DRM (Widevine or FairPlay) is only in scope when a client already has a licensing path. Windows desktop applications are not part of this offer. Television, watch, phone, and Mac are.

Questions

Do you build Windows TV or desktop apps?

No. This service is Android TV, Apple TV, and LG webOS. Windows application development is not offered.

Can a phone app be reused on TV?

The content model and APIs can be shared. The interface cannot. Television needs its own focus and playback design.
