The difficulty

Why this existed as a problem

People who are careful with money still lose the thread. Cash leaves a pocket, UPI leaves a chat, a committee collection lives in someone else’s notebook — and at the end of the month nobody can say where it went.

Cash, UPI, and informal committees scatter a household’s money across notebooks, chats, and memory. Spreadsheets fall behind; generic expense apps ignore how committees actually work.

The story behind Treasure

Treasure started from that everyday difficulty. A student paying rent, a professional tracking daily spend, a household running a neighbourhood committee — each already recorded something. The records just never lived in one place that worked without a mandatory login or a bank-style product. We built Treasure as an offline-first expense and committee tracker. The positioning is simple money awareness: record income and expenses, keep history, categorise spending, and review reports. It is not a wallet, a payments rail, or a replacement for a chartered accountant.

How we worked

The strategy was to ship a usable Android ledger rather than an accounting suite. Native Android, a clear transaction history, categories, period reports, and committee records in the same product. No mandatory account wall, because the job is personal and small-group bookkeeping, not a social network. Store-ready packaging mattered as much as the screens: a Play listing people can open, a privacy story that matches what the app does, and a first version we can maintain. Client conversations about similar money products start from this shipped example, not from a slide.

Where it stands

Treasure is live on Google Play as Treasure: Expense Tracker. It is a recently launched first-party product. Downloads, rankings, and revenue are not published here because those figures change and we do not invent them. The listing is the current proof.

The product in detail

Treasure is a record-keeping product, not a bank. It does not hold deposits or move money between accounts. The job is money awareness: a student, a professional, or a household should be able to see income, outgo, and committee collections without creating an account they do not need. On Google Play it ships as Treasure: Expense Tracker. Daily transactions stay organised by category. Reports cover periods so spending patterns are visible. Committee management sits beside personal tracking, so a local group does not need a second spreadsheet for collections and payouts. Weps Technologies was established in May 2025. Treasure is one of the first-party Android products we designed, built, and published ourselves — the same native practice we take to client mobile work.
